Stephen Powell named HYDRA Program Manager

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen Powell will join ASD in the position of HYDRA Program Manager commencing August 2025.

Stephen has been a Doha resident since 2013. During this time, he has worked with Evolution Soccer Qatar and rose to the role of Director of Coaching within that organisation. He has been responsible for leading the football program comprising a 1000 active athletes, 12 full time coaches and 6 head coaches. Prior to this, Stephen worked in Mexico and Canada in coaching roles. To compliment his work experience, he holds a variety of FA and UEFA coaching qualifications as well as a BTEC in Sport Performance and Excellence from the UK
